ChordAid is a comprehensive chord reference and chord finder tool designed for guitarists, bassists, banjo players, ukulele enthusiasts, mandolin aficionados, and bouzouki players. It offers support for both standard and alternate tunings and boasts an impressive collection of over forty-five chord types, including both simple and complex chords commonly used in jazz music, as well as slash chords.

With ChordAid, you have the ability to display, compare, and practice multiple chords simultaneously. These chords can either be the chords of a song or different variations of the same chord. The app also allows you to adjust the complexity of the shown chord shapes based on your level of expertise. In addition to the standard chord shapes, ChordAid offers more challenging options with two barres and greater finger stretching.

Whether you prefer strumming or finger-picking styles, ChordAid has got you covered with several strumming options available. Furthermore, left-handed players are fully supported by the app. Additionally, ChordAid enables you to easily translate chords from one instrument to another.

If you find certain chord shapes particularly useful or frequently used, you can mark them as favorites within the app. This feature allows you to switch to a display mode that exclusively shows your favorite shapes. As a result, you can create and maintain your own personalized chord library.

One standout feature of ChordAid is its "Reverse Chord Finder" mode. In this mode, you can select a few notes on the fretboard and the app will identify the corresponding chord names for you. From there, you can add the identified chords to your chord list and explore alternative fingerings.

ChordAid offers support for a wide range of instruments and tunings. Currently, the app supports the following instruments and tunings:
